About the coalition
The IDAY-Mauritania coalition was created in 2008 and underwent an internal restructuration in 2010. It gathers over 15 member organisations (NGOs and women's cooperatives) across the whole country.
The coalition is represented and coordinated in each province of Mauritania by a regional focal point.

Key annual events
- Organisation of collective celebrations on the occasion of
the International Day of the African Child
on June 16 with the view to conduct advocacy towards the authorities and generate mass media
impact on child-rights related issues.
- Awareness-raising and advocacy on the International Day for Literacy (September 8), International Day of the Rights of the Child (November 20), etc. |
